NINETY CENTS OF EVERY DOLLAR RAISED GOES DIRECTLY TO THE GRANDMOTHERS
In 2022-2023, 90% of revenue was spent on programs. The Canadian office space is donated by RE/MAX, allowing for a higher percentage of donations to directly benefit people in Lesotho.
Help Lesotho was one of the first 100 Canadian charities to be accredited by Imagine Canada in 2014. Annual accreditation through this standards program is a testimony to their transparency, accountability and effective governance.
Staff: Programs are delivered by an all-local team of 40+ highly trained staff in Lesotho. A small Canadian staff (4 full-time, 1 part-time) supports their efforts. 80% of staff are female.
90% of every donation made to the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign goes to the grassroots organizations with whom they work.
*The Stephen Lewis Foundation is also accredited by Imagine Canada's Standards Program. In December 2015, the National Post rated the SLF, again, as one of the top 25 Charities of the Year in Canada regarding standards for transparency, efficiency and accountability.
